Bishop Dr. Kenneth Obi is the founding pastor of Divine Word International COGIC which has three locations in Nigeria, with one in Mableton, Georgia, USA. Bishop Obi is a native of Otulu, Umuezem in Imo State of Nigeria, West Africa. Bishop Kenneth came to America in 1984 and has a Ph.d. in Christian Counseling from Restoration Theological Seminary.

He is the author of the book Coming to America: From the Pit to the Palace, which was widely received nationally and internationally. Bishop Kenneth Obi is happily married to Elect Lady Michelle Obi and together they are proud parents of five wonderful children, Tierra, Terrell, James, Jeremiah and Jessica.
